Horsetail Falls is easily accessed off the Richardson Highway about 12 miles east of Valdez. There is a large pull out, able to fit many cars and RV's.
Horsetail Falls is a popular roadside attraction to summer tourist on their way to Valdez.
In winter the waterfall is one of the more fickle for ice climbing in Keystone Canyon. The falls are constantly freezing and thawing. Bells may form on the upper left portion of the falls.
