Embrace the wilderness

Glacier Lookout was primarily built as an observatory for monitoring the receeding of Valdez Glacier and surrounding glaciers, while also providing a place to step out of time to relax and disconnect. Its 360° windows allow you to enjoy the alpine scenery with the comfort of a warm fire. There is no WiFi, you might get some cellular signal, and there's no power. This is a genuine "get away from it all" experience.

That was a sick adventure. It was way cooler than we were expecting.

Baczuk Bros
family at fire lookout Alaska

Glacier Lookout was an amazing bonding experience for us with beautiful views and an epic location. While we are stoked to set the records for both youngest and oldest to hike in from the valley, that helicopter ride out was sooo nice!
