The easiest route to East Peak is to take the old road (gated) that leads behind Robe River Subdivision and on to Hogsback. However instead of going up the Hogsback trail follow Corbin Creek up Goat Creek and on to Rubin Glacier then on up to East Peak.

HistoryNaming: East Peak is a descriptive name given in 1898 by Captain William Ralph Abercrombie, of the United States Army. At the time Valdez Glacier ran between East Peak and West Peak.
