About

Off the S end of Battery Point in Chilkoot Inlet, 5.6 km (3.5 mi) SE of Haines.

History

Named for Harold A. Johnson (1923-1975), sea captain who owned and operated a cannery tender out of Haines, and who was Master of the M. V. Matanuska for 11 years.
