on E shore of Muir Inlet, in Glacier Bay National Monument, 0.4 mi. E of Sealers I. and 63. mi. NW of Hoonah, St. Elias Mts. 0.2 mile long.

History

Name published by the American Geographical Society (Field, 1947, map). The name was suggested by W. S. Cooper of the University of Minnesota, who visited this cove in 1929 and "saw a number of young wild geese, who still unable to fly, were flapping over the water."
