About

Located 2.1 km (1.3 mi) E of Chilkoot River, 6.4 km (4 mi) NNW of Chilkoot Lake, 25 km (15 mi) NW of Haines.

History

Named for Joseph Lawrence Connolly (1941-1995), the principal consulting engineer geologist throughout the area for 23 years, who died at the outlet of the lake while conducting a geotechnical investigation.
