In the Poovoot Range on Saint Lawrence Island, 32 km (20 mi) SE of Gambell.
Eskimo name reported in 1949 by Major H. B. Allen, U.S. Air Force (USAF). According to Orth, 1965, the name is best rendered "otnosirnak"; sirnak means "walrus stomach."
