To get to Mount Crosson one often flies on an air taxi out of Talkeetna, and setups up camp at the Denali Basecamp on the Kahiltna Glacier.

Mount Crosson is a large glacier covered mountain in the Alaska Range. It is popular climb and is often enroute to summits attempts of Mt. Foraker.

History

Named in 1949 by Bradford Washburn, for Joseph Crosson, "pioneer aviator of Alaska."
