History of Pats Lake

Named in 1886 by Lieutenant Commander A. S. Snow, U.S. Navy (USN) for Patrick Loftus, who homesteaded here in the 1880's. Published in 1887 on U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey (USC&GS) Chart 706.
