History of Three Hill Island

Descriptive name given by W. H. Dall, U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey (USC&GS), in 1880, "because the island consists of three high hills united by low isthmuses" (U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey, 1883, p. 187).
