Named Mys Aleksandra or Alexander's Cape by Lieutenant Woronkofski in 1836; published in 1847 on Russian Hydrographic Dept. Chart 1379. Published in 1888 as Alexander Point by U.S. Bureau of Fisheries (USBF).
