N coast of Unalaska I., Aleutian Islands.

History

Named by U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey (USC&GS) in 1937 in honor of Lt. Marshall Reese, U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey (USC&GS), who drowned in this bay in 1936 while making a survey of the coast. This feature was published by Lt. Sarichev (1802, v. 2, p. 132), Imperial Russian Navy (IRN), as "Sakhtusik."
