Three Guardsman Lake in Detail.

About

Three Guardsman Lake sits at the base of Glave Peak of Three Guardsman Mountain, and along side the Haines Highway. The lake is formed by snow melt and drainage of Glave Peak.

The Lake is very clear water. The bottom of the lake is lined with rock breakage from Glave Peak so some of the edges of the rocks are quite pointy. There is also an algae that sits upon the bottom of the lake that gets kicked up when stirred.
