In Glacier Bay National Monument in the Fairweather Range, on the SW edge of Brady Glacier near the terminus, 1 mi. SE of North Trick Lake, 26.5 mi SE of Mount Crillon, 35 mi. N of Murk Bay, 59 mi. SW of Honah, St. Elias Mts.

History

Named by the National Park Service (NPS) in 1962 because the lake empties itself periodically, apparently annually.
