SW end of Alaska Peninsula, at the N end of Moffet Lagoon and Izembek Lagoon, 18 mi NNE of Fort Randall, Bristol Bay Low.
HistoryNamed by Captain Lutke (1836, p. 262), Imperial Russian Navy (IRN), for Midshipman Samuel Moffet, a member of his crew on the sloop Moller during his voyage around the world from 1826-29. This point was called "Neumann" by U.S. Bureau of Fisheries (USBF) in 1888.
