About

along the course of the Kandik River, 12 mi NE of Kathul Mountain and 40 mi NNE of Eagle, Porcupine Flat.

History

Named in 1965 by the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) for the brothers Sandy and Alfred Johnson, local trappers and prospectors who provided supplies to the 1912 International Boundary survey party working in this area.
