HistoryFormer mining camp established in the late 1890's and named "Dolomite" because of the predominence of dolomite rock in the area. The name was later shortened to "Dolomi." In 1906 it had a population of 50. The Dolomi post office was established in 1900 and was discontinued in 1926 (Ricks, 1965, p. 17).
