Reported in 1953 by D. M. Hopkins, U.S. Geological Survey (USGS). Named because the "sillouette of the peaks when seen from Kuzitrin Lake suggests the profile of a bat with folded wings." Two peaks having elevations of 1,699 ft. and 1,504 ft.
