Located in the Tordrillo Mountains, adjacent to Triumvirate Glacier, 4.8 km (3 mi) W of Strandline Lake, 24 km (15 mi) NE of Mount Torbert.

History of Frustration Lake

Named in 1964 when the plane carrying three climbers could not land on the rough surface of the icy lake, which caused them to begin their unsuccessful climb elsewhere.
