Eskimo name (Sikrikpak) for the hoary marmot, Marmota caligata broweri (Rausch, 1951, p. 178), published by U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) in 1955. Orth obtained the name "Sigikrurak" at Point Lay in 1956.
