On Chicagof Island, on the W side of South Arm Hoonah Sound, at the N entrance to Patterson Bay, 22.5 km (14 mi) E of Chicagof.

History

Named in 1895 by Lieutenant William I. Moore, U.S. Navy, for the Coast Survey steam launch "Reynard".
