History of Takiketak

Former Eskimo village or camp reported in 1878-79 by E. W. Nelson, U.S. Signal Service, as "Takikatagamute," meaning "Takikatak people," population 21; published by Ivan Petroff in the 1880 Census (1884, p. 17).
