Heading 5.2 mi E of Lava Lake and flows NW to the Noxapaga River, 2 mi NE of Lava Lake, 17 mi. W of Imuruk Lake, Seward Peninsula High.
Reported in 1950 by D. M. Hopkins, U.S. Geological Survey (USGS); so named because "the creek abounds with muskellunge, a large game fish."
