History of Ikijaktusak Creek

Eskimo name meaning "young gull" reported in 1962 by W. O. Pruitt, University of Alaska, and spelled by him "Eekheezhaktsusuk." U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey (USC&GS) reported a variation of this name in 1950 as "Eegik-rut-too-sook."
