Heads in Franklin Mts., flows W through the Ikiakpuk Valley to the Canning River 1 mi. S of junction of Cache Creek, 44 mi. NW of Mount Michelson, Arctic Slope. 23 miles long.


Named by S. J. Marsh, prospector, about 1902 (Leffingwell, 1919, p. 95).
