Heads in the W foothills of the Kookooligit Mountains and flows NW to a lagoon 6 mi E of Mugum Peak and 2 mi SW of Tikugha Point, in the N part of Saint Lawrence Island.

History

Eskimo name more correctly rendered "Ingresik"; meaning "rising slope". The entry spelling was reported in 1949 by Major H. B. Allen, U.S. AiH.FB.ce (USAF).
