extends W of Angoyakvik Pass between Colville and Kigalik Rivers, 12 mi. S of head of Ikpikpuk River, Arctic Slope.
Probably named in the 1940's by the geologists on the Naval Petroleum Reserve No. 4 exploration. The Eskimo name for this ridge, "Kimikpak," has been applied to a ridge 17 miles further east by U.S. Geological Survey (USGS).
