About

On the Alaska-Canada boundary, 10 mi NW of Mount Aylesworth, 40 mi. NE of Yakutat, St. Elias Mts.

History

Named by the U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey (USC&GS) in 1908 for Sir Louis Jette, 1836-1920, a member of the 1903 Canadian Boundary Tribunal and Lieutenant Gov. of the Province of Quebec from 1898 to 1908. He was elected to the House of Commons for Montreal University
