Along Yehring Creek, 2 i NW of Mount Swineford and 26 mi NE of Juneau; Coast Mountains.

History

Named in 1952 by B. D. Stewart, U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), because, "the lakes received their principal water supply from hanging glaciers lying on the western sloples of Mount Swineford."
