About

In the Coast Mountains, heading at 584300N, 1345300W, 2 mi SW of Devils Paw and trending SW to Demorest Glacier, 3 mi N of Hodgkins Peak and 26 mi NE of Juneau. 8 miles long.

History

So named in 1964 by members of the Juneau Icefield Research Project because the roughness of the glacier made travel difficult.
