History

Descriptive name published by U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey (USC&GS) in 1883 Coast Pilot (p. 138). They are "low rocky islets, wooded and with some rocks * * *" (U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey, 1891, p. 168).
