at delta of Copper River, 25 mi. SE of Cordova, Malaspina Coastal Plain. 4.5 miles long.
Named by H. P. Ritter, U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey (USC&GS), in 1898. "The Knoll is about 30 ft. high and covered with Alder bushes. There are five large Cottonwood trees on this knoll, and from a distance they resemble the tower of a castle."
