HistoryGroup of 20 springs is so called "because they are on a tributary of Melozitna (or Big Melozi) River, though they are fully 10 mi. from the main stream. "In December, 1911, a two-room cabin and a dog house were built. * * * Two small log bath houses, apparently of somewhat earlier construction, on either side of the spring have furnished bathing facilities * * *" (Waring, 1917, p. 67-68).
