For information on how to get to West Grapefruit Rocks check out Grapefruit Rocks. Once you're at the pull off many people park and walk down the old rutted muddy road to get to Lower (west) Grapefruit. However if you have 4WD, and decent clearance and know what you're doing it is entirely possible to drive 30ft from the wall.
AboutThe advantages: If you have the right vehicle you can drive right to it. Also down the trail on the backside down off the trail there is some pretty impressive wall for trad climbing. Climb at your own risk. The disadvantages: it can get buggy at times as it's lower elevation and less exposed. If you're not looking for the trad climbing there're only about 4 sport routes. Great for beginners, or early season warm ups.
