History of Fenimore Pass

Named in 1936 by U. S. Navy Hydrographic Office for the U. S. S. Fenimore Cooper, one of the ships of the North Pacific Exploring Expedition of 1855. Name published by the U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey (USC&GS) in the 1954 Coast Pilot (p. 435).
