HistoryThis cape is described in 1898 by Lieutenant Commander J. F. Moser, U.S. Navy (USN), of the U.S. Bureau of Fisheries (USBF) steamer Albatross, as "a high-turreted or castellated point, called Tuliumnit Point or Castle Cape." shown as "M(ys) Tuliumnit" on Russian Hydrographic Dept. Chart 1379 (1847). and named thus in 1926.
