In the central part of the N coast of Saint Lawrence Island, 3.7 mi SE of Savoonga Point and limited on the E by Kookoolik Cape.

History

Reported in 1949 by Major H. B. Allen, U.S. Air Force (USAF). According to Orth, 1965, this is pronounced locally "pinelak."
