History

Named in 1908 by U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey (USC&GS) and published in the 1908 Coast Pilot (p. 167). Named presumably because the rocks are halfway between the reefs off the west coast of Khaz Peninsula and the Khaz Breakers.
