About

Located at the mouth of Mole Harbor, on the east coast of Admiralty Island, 100 km (62 mi) northeast of Sitka, Alexander Archipelago.

History

Named in 1889 by Lieutenant Commander H. B. Mansfield, U.S. Navy (USN), and published by U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey (USC&GS) in the 1891 Coast Pilot (p. 171).
