Shaman Island is a small island located off the west shore of Douglas Island, near Juneau.
From Juneau get on West 10th Street and cross on the Juneau-Douglas Bridge. At the roundabout on the other end take the first right on to North Douglas Highway. Go another 11 miles on that. From there you can access the beach on Rain Forest Trail or Peterson Creek Trail. When the tide is low you can walk out to Shaman Island.
