About

Overlooking the Chukchi Sea about 1.2 mi SE of Cape Thompson, Arctoc Slope.

History

Named in 1906 by A. J. Collier, U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) because it is composed of various colored rock beds arched into an anticline, giving the appearance of a "bulls eye" agate when viewed from a distance.
