About

On the NW shore of Kachemak Bay, along the lower course of Fox Creek, 32 km (20 mi) E of Nikolaevsk and 32 km (20 mi) NE of Homer.

History

Settled in late 1970's by Russian immigrants from nearby Nikolaevsk, the name means "Kachemak Settlement".
