population 122, on W bank of Innoko River, 27 mi. NE of Anvik and 49 mi. N of Holy Cross; Innoko Low.

History

there were several Ingalik Indian villages recorded in this low wetland by the Russians (see Shageluk): Holikachuk may be the one mentioned in 1861 by P. Tikhmeniev as "Sel(o) Khulishganat" or "Khuligishgat ' "Holikitsak" with a population of 114. maintained here from 1941 to 1964 (Ricks, 1965, p. 26).
