History

Local name reported in 1914 by A. H. Brooks, U.S. Geological Survey (USGS). It was formerly reported as "Hunchback Creek" in 1908 by U.S. Grant and D.F. Higgins (in brooks and others, 1909, pl. 4), U.S. Geological Survey (USGS).
