About

On Chichagof Island, flowing NW to Lisinski Inlet, 14 mi. N of Chichagof, 3.4 mi NW of its head, Alex. Arch.

History

Named in 1955 by D. L. Rossman, U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), "for the Steelhead trout, which are reported to spawn in this stream. It is said to be the only stream on Chichagof Island in which these fish spawn."
