History of Pinnell River

Named for Jess Pinnell, a miner from Nome (AK-T1/p759), reported in 1901 by USCS (Collier, 1902, pl. 12). Published as "Pannell" by reaburn (in Mendenhall, 1902, pl. 4a), U.S. Geological Survey (USGS).
