History of Katlitna River

Ingalik Indian name obtained in 1908 by Maddren (1910, pl. 1), U.S. Geological Survey (USGS). Lieutenant La. A. Zagoskin, Imperial Russian Navy (IRN), in 1842-44, applied another Indian name, "Kichotno."
