About

extends NE from the Telida Mts., between Fish Creek and North Fork Kuskokwim River; Tanana Low.

History

Tanana Indian name obtained in 1899 by Lieutenant Herron (1901 p. 48 amd map), USA, who recorded it as "Mun-sat-lee Mountains." and applied the name collectively to this ridge and to the mountains to the south. See Telida Mountains.
