History of Wood River Mountains

Local name reported in 1939 by U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey (USC&GS). Mertie (1938b, p. 14), U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), referred to these mountains when he wrote "here designated the Tikchik Mountains."
