In the DeLong Mountains at the headwaters of the Nuka and Nimiuktuk Rivers and the Driftwood, Storm and Seagull Creeks, 35 mi. NE of Misheguk Mountain, Brooks Range.

History

Named in 1925 by the U.S.Geological Survey exploring Party because of numerous thunder storms experienced in the area.
